VZET Solutions looks after the servers, laptops, email and networks that your business runs on. One flat monthly fee, a real person on the phone, and problems that get fixed before most of your staff notice them.

Security and backup
Ransomware does not take Friday afternoons off
Most breaches we clean up started with one clicked link. We layer email filtering, endpoint protection, patching and tested backups so a bad click stays a bad click instead of a bad month.

Move to the cloud without the horror stories
We migrate mail, files and line of business apps on evenings and weekends, keep the old system running until the new one is proven, and train your staff so Monday morning is quiet.

What we do
Six things we look after so you do not have to
Some clients hand us everything. Others keep an internal person and use us for the heavy lifting. Both work, and you can start with one service and add the rest later.
Managed IT support
Unlimited remote and onsite help for your staff, patching, monitoring, asset tracking and monthly reporting. Billed as one predictable amount per user.
Endpoint protection, email filtering, multi-factor authentication, security awareness training and offsite backups that we restore and test on a schedule.
Firewalls, switching, business Wi-Fi that reaches the warehouse, structured cabling and hosted phone systems with call flows built around how you work.
We spec, source, image and deliver laptops, desktops, servers and accessories at distributor pricing, then keep a warranty and replacement schedule for each one.
New office builds, server replacements, ERP rollouts and relocations, planned around your calendar and quoted at a fixed price before anything is unplugged.
Most of our clients came to us frustrated with their last provider
The complaints are always the same. Tickets disappear into a portal. The invoice never matches the quote. Nobody can explain what the backup actually protects. We built VZET Solutions around fixing those three things first.
You get named technicians. The same two or three people learn your systems, so you are not explaining your setup from scratch every time.
Flat monthly pricing. Support hours are included. We are not incentivised to leave problems in place.
Documentation you own. Passwords, licences, network diagrams and warranties stay in a record you can take with you.
Plain answers. If something is going to cost money or cause downtime, we tell you before it happens, not in the invoice.
From first phone call to fully supported in about three weeks
There is no mystery to onboarding. We look at what you have, tell you what we found, agree on the order of work, and then take over support once the basics are stable. Nothing is billed until you approve the scope.
1
Discovery call
Twenty minutes on the phone to understand your size, your systems and what keeps breaking.
2
Onsite assessment
We document the network, servers, licences, backups and security gaps, then hand you the report whether you hire us or not.
3
Onboarding and stabilise
Agents deployed, backups verified, MFA turned on, and the loudest recurring issues cleared out first.
Every plan includes the helpdesk, patching and monitoring. The difference is how much security and project work is bundled in. Exact pricing depends on your environment and is confirmed after the assessment.
Prices in Canadian dollars, excluding taxes and third party licensing. Project work is quoted separately at a fixed price.
Who we work with
Businesses between 5 and 150 staff, mostly within an hour of our office
We are deliberately local. Being able to get to Meadowvale, Streetsville, the airport corporate centre or downtown Toronto inside an hour is part of the service, especially when a switch dies or a shipment has to go out.
The work looks different by sector. A machine shop cares about the shop floor terminals and the ERP. A law office cares about confidentiality and search. A clinic cares about uptime during patient hours and about who touched what record.

What people say after the first year
★★★★★
We moved to VZET after two years of chasing our old provider for updates. The difference is that things get closed. Our staff know the techs by name and the monthly invoice is the same number every time.

They found that our backup had not completed successfully in four months. Nobody had checked. That alone paid for the assessment, and the migration to Microsoft 365 afterwards went through a long weekend with no complaints on Monday.

Our warehouse Wi-Fi was the running joke here. VZET surveyed the building, replaced three access points and re-ran cable to the mezzanine. Scanners have not dropped since.

Common questions
Things people ask before they call
No. Managed plans run month to month after an initial 90 day period, which is roughly how long it takes for the work we do at the start to pay off. If you leave, we hand over documentation, admin accounts and licences without an argument.
Often. A common arrangement is that your internal person handles day to day requests and we cover servers, security, projects and holiday cover. We can also give them our monitoring and documentation tools so nothing is hidden behind our portal.
Our target is 15 minutes for anything marked priority, and same business day for standard requests. If a whole site is down we call you rather than waiting for a ticket. Response times for the last quarter are printed in your monthly report so you can hold us to it.
A technician spends a half day onsite, inventories your hardware and software, checks backups, patch levels, licence usage, firewall configuration and account security, then writes it up in plain language with a prioritised list of risks. There is no obligation and the report is yours to keep.
Yes. Most of our clients are Windows and Microsoft 365, but we support macOS fleets, and Linux servers where they are running something specific such as a database or a line of business application.
