An IT company built by people who got tired of bad IT companies
VZET Solutions was started in Mississauga to do the unglamorous parts of business technology properly: answer the phone, fix the root cause, document everything, and charge what was quoted.
Started on service calls, not in a boardroom
VZET Solutions grew out of a decade of field work across the GTA. Our founders spent years walking into server rooms that had not been touched since installation, finding backups that had quietly failed, and explaining to owners why the last provider had never mentioned any of it.
The pattern was always the same. The technology was not exotic. The problem was that nobody was actually watching it, and nobody was writing anything down. So the company was built around two rules that have not changed: everything is monitored, and everything is documented.
Today we look after businesses from five person offices to manufacturers with three shifts. The tools have changed, the rules have not, and clients from the first year are still with us.
- Locally owned and operated from Mississauga
- Technicians on staff, not a rotating pool of subcontractors
- Vendor neutral advice, because we do not earn commission on hardware brands
Four principles that decide how we work
These are not posters on a wall. They are the reasons we say no to certain work and the standard our team is measured against.
Fix the cause
Rebooting is not a fix. If the same ticket comes back twice we stop, look at why, and deal with the underlying problem on our own time.
Write it down
Every client has a live record of their network, licences, warranties and credentials. You own that record and can take it with you at any point.
Show the numbers
Monthly reporting covers tickets raised, tickets closed, response times, patch compliance and backup success. Good months and bad ones.
Talk like humans
Our reports are written so an owner or an office manager can read them. If you need the technical version, we have that too.
Years in business technology
Businesses supported across the GTA
Devices under monitoring
Typical onsite arrival for emergencies
Who you will actually be dealing with
Every client is assigned a lead technician and a backup, so there is always someone who knows your environment without reading a script.
Service desk
The first line for password resets, printers, Outlook, phones and everything else that stops someone working. Reachable by phone, email or the portal, whichever you prefer.
Target first reply: 15 minutes on priority tickets.
Infrastructure team
Servers, firewalls, switching, virtualisation and backup. They handle patching windows, capacity planning and the projects that have to run at 2am.
Certified across Microsoft, Fortinet, Ubiquiti and Veeam platforms.
Account and vCIO
Your quarterly review, budget planning, licence audits and roadmap. This is the person who tells you what is coming in twelve months so it is not a surprise.
Included on Managed and Managed Plus.
We standardise on tools we are willing to defend
Choosing fewer, better platforms means our technicians know them deeply, spares are on the shelf, and pricing is predictable. Where a client already runs something different, we support it rather than forcing a rip and replace.
- Microsoft 365 and Azure
- Windows Server and Hyper-V
- Fortinet and Ubiquiti
- Veeam and Datto style backup
- SentinelOne class endpoint security
- 3CX and hosted VoIP
- Dell, Lenovo and HP hardware
Our technicians hold current certifications in Microsoft 365 administration, Azure fundamentals, network security and CompTIA tracks, and training hours are budgeted into every quarter.
We live here too
Being a Mississauga company is not a marketing line for us. Our technicians are on the road across Peel and Halton every day, and being twenty minutes from most clients is what makes a four hour emergency response realistic rather than aspirational.
We give discounted rates to registered charities and community groups in Peel Region, and we run a short workshop for local business owners a few times a year on practical security: what actually gets small companies breached, and the five things that prevent most of it.
We also believe in being honest about fit. If your business needs something we are not the right shop for, such as heavy custom software development or enterprise scale data centre work, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
What we are good at is keeping a business of ten to a hundred and fifty people running smoothly, securely and without drama, and doing that year after year.
Curious what we would find in your network?
The assessment is free and the report is yours regardless of what you decide afterwards.
